Presentations highlight New Thai packages from U2 Holidays featuring Korea stopovers with Korean Air

Representatives from the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), and U2 Holidays and Korean Air recently delivered destination presentations to Albertan travel professionals. The “Korea Sparkling and Amazing Thailand” presentations, hosted by KTO, TAT and U2 Holidays, were held at the Regency Palace Restaurant in Calgary on November 6 and at the Century Palace Restaurant in Edmonton on November 7. Jasper’s SunDog Tour Co. has introduced a new year-round, daily service between Edmonton International Airport (YEG) and Jasper, which made its first trip on November 14. One-way tickets for travel between YEG and Jasper cost $89 for adults and $59 for children 12 and under, and $79/$49 between West Edmonton Mall and Jasper. Paul Hardy, owner of SunDog Tour Co., told TRAVELHotNews that customer demand for a convenient, daily connection between YEG and Jasper prompted the new service, a move that has been in the works for approximately 18 months. “It’s something we’ve talked about for a long time, both internally and with other tour operators,” Hardy said.
