Air Canada has announced that its Premium Security Clearance program, which provides expedited access to security screening via an exclusive access lane, is now available to Air Canada passengers travelling in Executive First or Executive Class at select points and times at Vancouver International and Edmonton International airports. | REGINA INT'L LANDS ANOTHER PASSENGER RECORD |

More than 960,00 passengers in 2007, up 10.5% from 2006

| Jim Hunter, CEO Regina Airport Authority Inc. | | Regina International Airport set a new record for passenger traffic in 2007, with a total of 962,692 passengers travelling through the airport. The total represents a 10.5% increase over 2006, which at 871,416 passengers was held the previous record. Passenger traffic at the airport has increased by 32% in the last three years. December was also a record month for the airport, with 87,000 passengers using the terminal -- the largest monthly total in the airport's history. "These results demonstrate the increased capacity of our terminal, the strong economic times Saskatchewan is enjoying, and the close link between them," said Regina Airport Authority Inc. CEO Jim Hunter. And the numbers are likely to continue to rise in 2008: WestJet recently announced it will begin its first-ever direct non-stop flight from Regina to Toronto this May.
