| ADVENTURE GETS A NEW NAME |

Adventure West Resorts names Aaron Smith as director of marketing and operations; Meghan St. Jean as Marketing Assistant
Adventure West Resorts recently announced the promotion of Aaron Smith from Marketing Manager to Director of Marketing and Operations. In Smith’s new role, he will oversee all marketing, operations and human resources management of the Elkin Creek Guest Ranch, Ocean Explorer Sportfishing and Adventure Fjord Heliskiing. Smith has worked with Adventure West Resorts since 2005 where he increased the brand awareness and growth for the company. Meghan St. Jean is also new to Adventure West. She has been hired in the role of Marketing Assistant. Reporting to Aaron Smith, Director of Marketing and Operations, St. Jean will be assisting with marketing, communications and business development for Adventure West Resorts.

| CALIFORNIA WINE COUNTRY IS OPEN |

Wine Country is open for business; California wildfires not affecting wineries, attractions and activities
The lightning-induced wildfires are affecting less then one-half of one percent of the 5- million acre wine country. Northern California's wine country encompasses over 7,763 square miles, or 4,968,320 acres. "All of the 258 wineries in Sonoma County are open for business," said Ken Fischang, CEO and president of the Sonoma County Tourism Bureau. "Napa and Lake Counties are reporting the same." The hotels and visitor attractions remain open, including the miles of rugged ocean coastline, the wild rivers, and quaint small towns and villages that dot the countryside. Here are some of the highlights. Get ready for Fourth of July at the ‘Freedompalooza’ downtown. It’s a rock party and fireworks celebration which starts at 6 p.m. at the Club Congress. There will be two stages, “Independence” and “Rebel” which will feature local bands. Girlfriends’ getaways are fun in Tucson, with a whole range of options. Loews Ventana Canyon Resort offers a private golf lesson with a pro, a horseback ride in the desert and then a relaxing Swedish massage to wind the day down. | Julian Owen-Mold, Executive Chef, Nita Lake Lodge | | Executive chef Julian Owen-Mold comes to the Nita Lake Lodge Julian Owen-Mold will now be working in Whistler as executive chef of the new Nita Lake Lodge. Owen-Mold combines classic French cooking techniques with local produce to create his own creations. A native of England, Owen-Mold studied engineering and worked in one of the neighbouring restaurants. After graduation, Owen-Mold accepted into the apprenticeship program at the Four Seasons in London. From there, he worked in restaurants including: Stephanie Alexander in Melbourne, M’s in Hong Kong and Harvey Nichols, Novelli Restaurants and Noble Rot in London, UK. Most recently, Owen-Mold was the Chef de Cuisine at the Elixer at the Opus Hotel in Vancouver.
