| WESTJET EXPANDS IN THE WEST |

WestJet announces expansion to Bridgetown, Barbados and La Romana, Dominican Republic, and on existing routes
WestJet today announced the introduction of seasonal non-stop service to two new international sun destinations in the Caribbean: Bridgetown, Barbados and La Romana, Dominican Republic. These new sun destinations are part of WestJet's enhanced winter schedule, which will also include new service to Cancun and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, from various cities across Canada. WestJet will announce schedule details for the new Mexican destinations shortly. WestJet is also introducing service to Kamloops, B.C., from Calgary and adding a new non-stop route between Calgary and Grande Prairie. These announcements will bring WestJet's existing scheduled destinations to 49. By 2013, WestJet will fly to over 65 scheduled destinations.

Itineraries and optional excursions encompass 14 national parks and wilderness areas. Tourism Vancouver has announced their summer event listings for 2008. Some of the events listed include: Celebrate Canada’s Birthday - Book travel to Vancouver over Canada Day weekend and celebrate Canada’s 141st birthday this July 1st. Canada Place will be offering four entertainment stages featuring all Canadian talent on Canada Day from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. Entertainment includes: the Westcoast Contortionists, the indoor ski and snowboard show, the Citizenship Ceremony for new Canadians, and the national anthem singing competition.
