NEW EURAIL SCANDINAVIA PASS The new Eurail Scandinavia Pass, which replaces the former ScanRail Pass, enables unlimited 2nd-class rail travel in all four participating countries and is available throughout a range of validity periods. Discounts are offered to groups of two or more and to young people under the age of 26. Prices start from 50 euros a day for a four-day Saver Pass. |

COUPLES OCHO RIOS TO CLOSE FOR UPGRADES Couples Ocho Rios in Jamaica will close from April 1 to December 15, 2008 for an extensive renovation program. Among the new features guests will see in December: four suites and 16 guest rooms; a spa boasting 10 treatment rooms; a wedding gazebo; a pool grill; a dive pool; and a floating dock at Tower Isle, the resort's private island. The reservations of guests already booked at the resort during renovations will be honoured at one of Couples Resorts’ three sister properties. In addition, affected guests will receive two free nights on a return stay to Ocho Rios between April 1 and Dec. 15, 2009. |

Guests enjoyed Veuve Clicquot champagne and amuses bouches before taking their places along the runway as emcee Scott Roberts, Transat’s director of sales for Western Canada took to the mike and outlined the company’s news, including the new service from Vancouver and Calgary to Paris.
